  18. Please bear with my ignorance...

  20. I want to download files from my UNIX account to DOS.  I have been using
  21. a dated modem program (CrossTalk).  I know a little ProComm too.

  23. When I invoke Kermit once in my UNIX shell it comes up C-Kermit>.  I
  24. enter 'receive <file name>'.  After a long delay I get a 'too many 
  25. retries' message.

  27. Can someone help or recommend a *brief* guide to Kermit (I ftp'ed an
  28. enormous MSKermit.doc and the faq file wasn't terribly helpful).
